WHAT WE SELL - We sell good quality New and Pre-owned Childrens and Babies Clothing for all ages from 0-12 years. All the Brand New items are marked as either with original tags or without tags and original tag price if  marked. All the used and Nearly New Clothes are washed and ironed and ready to wear. Please note that our order system works on a first come first served basis and until an item is checked out and paid for it can still be seen and bought by someone else. Also we usually only stock one of each item or outfit in our Nearly New Clothing range - so if you see something that you really like its worth buying it now, because theres a good chance that it wont be available still next week!

POSTAGE & PACKING - UK P&P from £1.95 - £8.95. Europe from £2.95. p&p is automatically worked out by weight of each item ordered - at anytime during shopping you can see what your p&p will be by going to your shopping cart and choosing a delivery method and updating cart. Max UK postage for weight up to 25kg is £8.95 via DHL 1-2 day signed for service. EUROPE - This is an automated service and is unable to give an accurate shipping amount for large amounts and weights to be sent to Europe. We regularly send large parcels to all corners of Europe - If you want a shipping quote for your location please email us.

SIZES - We clearly state the size of each item in age and exactly as it appears in the label and each item is listed in its age and gender category. Some sizes overlap - for example age 3 years overlaps sizes 2-3 years and 3-4 years - so it is worth checking both size categories when looking. If you need more information, please email us.

GRADING - Our Childrens clothing is graded in three ways - Brand New is marked as either with or without original tags and is clearly stated in each items description. Our pre-owned childrens and babywear are graded as Nearly New - as stated, not had a lot of wear. Gently Worn - had some wear but not marked and plenty of wear left in them. Any items that have any small marks or areas of particular wear are clearly stated as such in their description and the price reflects this. We try to clearly describe each item as accurately as possible. All items are washed and ironed and have been thoroughly checked. Anything that doesnt meet our high standards is discarded and either sent to a charity shop or sent to a recycling centre.Occasionally we make a mistake - we are only human - in this unlikely event a full refund will be issued on return of the item.

HOW TO ORDER - Simply select the item that you want and click on the Add to Cart button - this takes you to Your Shopping cart page where you can either continue shopping or checkout. It also tells you how much p&p is due on the items that you have bought so far, so you know exactly how much you will be paying. Postage and packing is automatically calculated based on the weight of the items that you have in your cart. You have to select delivery method to see correct shipping costs - either UK or Europe. UK p&p starts at £2.25 and Airmail to Europe starts at £2.95. When you have finished shopping and are ready to checkout click on the Checkout button. You will then need to fill in your Billing/Delivery details and click on Continue button. This will take you to the order summary page and payment options. To pay by cheque or postal order click on 'pay via cheque' button or for credit or debit card payments click on 'pay via Paypal' button. (See How to Pay section below for more details.) For Paypal this will open a Paypal window where you can enter payment details - either enter paypal login details if you are using a paypal account or scroll down to continue if you are paying with a credit or debit card without a paypal account. Follow the paypal instructions given. For payment by cheque or postal order this will bring up a window with details of who to make cheques and postal orders payable to, your order number which you need to send with your payment and where to send your payment to. After payment is made you need to click on return to website to complete your order.

HOW TO PAY - We accept payment by cheque, postal order in Pounds Sterling or by credit/debit card via Paypal - you do not need a Paypal account to pay by credit or debit card. Cheques and postal orders to be made payable to J. A. Hawksworth. Payment by credit/debit card via Paypal is the quickest payment method and most items are sent within 2-3 days and often next day. Payments made by uncrossed postal orders will be sent as soon as the payment is received. Payments made by cheque or crossed postal orders have to clear in our account before the order can be dispatched - this usually takes 3-5 working days. Whilst we make every effort to dispatch your order within 2-3 days of payment being made (and often quicker!) there will be the odd occassion when posting is delayed. For example due to Christmas, bank holidays, annual holidays etc and we will advise if there is to be any delay. So please allow 7 days from your payment arriving with us for delivery and if after this time you havent received the order - please email to let us know.

RETURNS - Our returns policy is as follows and does not affect your statutory rights. Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel the contract for the purchase at any point from the time of ordering until seven working days after delivery. If we have already dispatched the item to you, you will need to return it to us as soon as possible. Postage costs for Returns is your responsibility unless the item is faulty. A Refund will be issued if items are returned in the condition that they were originally sent, ie unwashed, unworn, unmarked and with original tags where appropriate, and they are returned in the time stated. It is also your responsibility to ensure that the package reaches us safely and we suggest you obtain proof of posting. In the unlikely event of you wanting to return an item - please email us first.
